Before you replace a fluorescent lighting fixture with a regular one you should always turn off the circuits power by turning off the appropriate circuit breaker in your electrical panel.
The light fixture should be entirely supported by the ceiling wires and will barely rest on the ceiling grid.
Always test the circuit with a non contact voltage tester prior to starting the job to reduce the risk of injury.
Repeat on the other three corners.
Pull tight and twist the wire around itself.
Start at one corner of the light fixture and bend that corresponding corners ceiling wire up and through the eyelet on the light fixture.
